Art Nouveau gown designed by Victor Prouvé, 1900. Decorating the silk gown are tall irises, silver droplets, swirls of waves and river reeds tangled in swift water. The centerpiece on the bodice is a wrought gold and enameled dragonfly with cabochons of precious stones, and two waterlilies at the shoulders support rivers of pearls.
